3 Light Ballast Wiring DiagramMitosis Diagram - What's the Initial Phase of Mitosis? ? The process of mitosis is divided into phases. All these stages, as is mentioned in previous articles of the series, are divided into two primary classes: first phase and secretory stage. Phase 2 of mitosis, secretory phase, is what we usually call the start of mitosis. In other words, the secretory stage is also the second stage of mitosis. From the diagram below, I'll use the image of a branch of mitosis into two major phases. Among these phases, known as secretory phase, is displayed in red and is another in sequence to the end of the initial stage. To be able to make the diagram more apparent, I will use a short phrase, which describes the next stage of mitosis: the secretory phase. In the diagram, the phase indicated with the picture is displayed in red. This stage is the first one in the sequence, which is discussed in earlier posts of this set. In another stage, that in orange, one finds that the initiation of mitosis, which starts the next phase of mitosis, which is the second phase of mitosis that is shown in the diagram. As it's apparent from the above picture, an individual can easily understand the difference between both stages of mitosis. Now, the question remains as to what's the initial phase of mitosis. Actually, the first stage of mitosis is broken up into three phases; each one having its own name. The name of the phase is busy mitosis, active secretory stage, and postponed mitosis. The cells which combine with each other are known as spermatogonia, and they become specialized for the job of fertilization. The two spermatocytes and oocytes came under the category of spermatocytes. The first stage of mitosis, the active secretory stage, occurs when the spermatocytes multiply and divide a few times. One spermatocyte fertilizes one egg cell, and the result is a spermatocyte and its own egg counterpart. The next stage of mitosis, referred to as the delayed secretory phase, is divided into two stages. The first one is known as delayed branch and is marked by the creation of small clumps of cells known as spermatids and the second phase of mitosis is called post-mating branch.
